James Robert (Bob) Chronister, 70, of Lavaca, AR. entered into rest on Wednesday June 13, 2012 in Lavaca, AR. He was born July 31, 1941 in Charleston, AR. to the late Wilburn and Sybil Chronister. He was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Chronister. He attended Union Baptist Church, a Vietnam Army Veteran and was retired owner operator of B & L Trucking. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Lavelle Chronister of the home, one son Kelly Chronister of Oklahoma, two step-daughters Diana Hutchins and Melissa McGee both of Lavaca and one step-son Brian Taylor of Lavaca , two brothers Dennis W. Chronister and Joe A. Chronister both of Lavaca and eight grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, AR. The body was cremated.
